Credit card....a tool of multinationals to increase their sales.

It started with a thought...How can i increase my sales? then the idea...why not ask the customer to buy what ever he want ask him to pay at his convenience..looks pretty awesome right.

ya it is a awesome gift for the customer if he buys what he actually want and pays back in time.

Some days back i have seen an offer from levis which says shop now pay later....wonder how much that offer has increased their sales.my guess is at least 25%?

I was a person who want's to buy a lot of things but don't want to spend the cash in my pocket. I only spend when the thing is something that makes me think of it at least once or twice, but my card has changed my way of shopping....

Now a days when i go on a shopping spree i buy what i liked at that instant, thinking...haa i can pay it later its just some xxx/- rupees only.

Small transactions are the deadliest..u think u are shopping in small amount but do n number of transactions which result in your xxx/- becoming xxxx/- or xxxxx/- which will be tough to pay when you look at the bill...

u have a 5% cashback on transactions if will be given only if u reach a 1lakh amount.Don't hope to get 5 rs and spend 100...if u fall back on ur payment u have to pay 2.5 rs.

Also be aware...if u shopped for 10k say and paid 5k before due date and pay the remaining just one day after the due date...u will pay 30% per annum of 10k which u shopped. 2.5% per month may look pretty a no, it translates to 30% per annum which means for every 1k u shopped u have to pay 250 rs if u pay even one day late.

cardholders link your credit account to ur debit account and pay ur bills as soon as u receive the bill.

x charge,y charge,z charge Misc charges..where do dey find so many names from

when i was a kid my mother used to show me the moon and feed me some food telling me i would bring the moon and give it to you...now a days my card is telling me shop for the points...and pay more

when u shop with cash u feel as if u are giving something that u have worked for....every time u buy something.
when u shop with a card u don't feel a thing...but u will feel it,n times bigger when u are actually paying the bill.

credit card is something like a dish that looks pretty good, tastes pretty good but kills u if u eat it every day.

so be aware card holders...u have some rights use them well, but not neglect your responsibilities.

How did i start investing

It was December26th 2009,the date on which i got my demat account from SHAREKHAN. The reason i opted for share khan is because it's one of the oldest and provides a good online portal. I was interested in investing from techkriti 2009 onwards when i played online share game. i didn't win any prize as such but it created an interest in me,which drew me toward investing in equity. i did some ground work which is a must before investing. I read some articles on net which were very helpful in knowing about eqity, derivatives. Equity or any investment which is treated as the one with risk and derivatives can be used to mitigate the risk.
I started with a very small amount of 10,000. and gained on few of my initial transactions, lost on a few transactions.
the things which i have learned till now..
-Invest when the market is at low.(Go bullish when the market is bearish)
-Withdraw when the market start consolidating.
-Stay for long if you want to earn more returns.
-Always know details of the company in which u are investing and decide the criteria for exit.
-be careful if u are going for intraday ,because u need to earn atleast brokarage.
-before taking delivery plan for which time u like to stay invested? what if u don't get the expected returns? How much loss can u bear from the investment?Have answers for all such questions.

Don't
Don't invest in one company.(plan to diversify your investments)
Don't invest more than 75% of ur investments in equities.
Better go for good mutual funds if you don't have knowledge of equities.

That's for now..Put more when i learn more from my good or bad buys, sells,
